Néolithe renews its participation in SIM 2025

From 15 to 17 October 2025, Néolithe will participate for the third consecutive year in the SIM trade show, which will be held in Orléans. On this occasion, Ronan Hamelin, aggregates sales manager, explains Néolithe’s presence at the leading trade show for the mineral industry.

Why has Néolithe been participating in the SIM Exhibition for several years?

We have been attending the trade fair for three years now. It is a key opportunity to meet local players in the quarrying industry, forge links and show that we are not competitors but partners. This year, our objective is clear: to present ourselves as a solution for the future for decarbonising the construction industry.

What topics will be highlighted this year?

In particular, we will be presenting the launch of our high-capacity plant project, capable of processing up to 100,000 tonnes of waste per year. We will also highlight our technical advances: the latest ETPM and ATEX certifications for the use of our aggregates in structural concrete, as well as the launch of our R&D programme on a new aggregate diameter for the production of blocks, breeze blocks and small prefabricated products.

What has changed since the last edition?

We have reached a milestone with our pilot site in Beaulieu-sur-Layon, which is now producing more consistently and uniformly. Our primary focus is quality. It is this operational stability that allows us to move to larger-scale production.

How important is it to interact with other players in the sector at the SIM trade show?

‘This is fundamental. We want to establish trusted partnerships with professionals in the sector. We need them to distribute our aggregates and work together to decarbonise the construction industry. We also offer an alternative that helps preserve natural deposits, which is becoming an increasingly strategic issue.’

A word to invite visitors to come and meet Néolithe?

Néolithe continues to evolve, so now is the perfect time to come and meet us and discuss our work. The trade fair is the ideal place to discover our advances and ambitions. This year, we will be participating in the workshop ‘Concrete construction: low-carbon solutions and resource circularity’ and will be speaking on the topic ‘Non-recyclable waste: moving from a linear habit to a circular approach’ with Quentin Laurens, Director of Public Affairs. Anyone who is curious is welcome to attend. Industry has a role to play in the fight against climate change.
